Their Loss: Drake and 21 Savage Sued for $4 Million

It’s the album no one knew they wanted — and arguably still don’t. Nevertheless, Her Loss by 21 Savage and Drake has definitely been making waves. One of the most polarizing projects released by both artists; simply scrolling through the comment sections on social media, you can clearly see that people both love and hate this semi-surprise joint collaboration.

However, perhaps, no one was as surprised as the team of people working at Vogue Magazine. Although the brand’s likeness seems to have been playfully included to promote the project, the iconic fashion magazine seems less than amused about its unwitting inclusion in the visuals. Specifically, the two men created a mock magazine with them on the cover.

Details of the Lawsuit

No matter how you feel about the album, Vogue publisher Condé Nast says Drake and 21 Savage owe them money. While it would appear that the duo believed this to be a way to pay homage to the brand and themselves, Vogue owners are upset that it was done without their permission. And by the looks of it, their claims seem to be valid — however, probably not to the tune of $4 million.
